The magic, the music, and the mystery pulled the audience along on a frozen adventure. “Frozen 2” the sequel to “Frozen” was a fantastic addition to the storyline.

In “Frozen 2,” we see into the past of King Agnar and Queen Iduna (Alfred Molina and Evan Rachel Wood). We learn how they met, and we see more of Elsa’s (Idina Menzel) and Anna’s (Kristen Bell) childhood.

“Frozen 2” had fabulous music, the music spoke to my soul and made me feel happy, sad, excited, and confused–it’s easy to say that some of these songs are far better than the songs in the original.

The character development in Frozen was also exceptional; you could see the growth of every character, and you could tell that the characters had been together for three years in between “Frozen” and “Frozen 2”.

The music set the mood for the movie and had a deeper meaning that most people did not understand; all of the songs had a purpose. The songs swayed the mood of the film and made you feel what the directors wanted you to feel. Elsa sang a heartfelt song that made the audience feel how she felt and understand the thoughts and the emotions tied with her feelings about knowing where she belongs.

Throughout the film, Elsa continued to discover her power and realized that her power was not a curse, but a blessing.

As Elsa was developing her power, Anna tries to stop her. Anna feels Elsa is trying to run away again, and Anna stops her multiple times. Eventually, Elsa pushes her away so she can do what needs to be done.

Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) didn’t have much of a part in the movie. He had a song, and he was present throughout the film in various parts, but for the most part he was just chasing Anna around. He wanted her by his side, but Anna was disregarding him and forgot that he was there for her.

Olaf (Josh Gad) was growing up through the movie–he was finally maturing, and he was hilarious. Olaf didn’t quite understand what was going on, and he made the movie better with the clever things he said and the innocence he brought to the film

“Frozen 2” was a phenomenal movie. I highly recommend it–the music and the magic were amazing. I was drawn into the story and glued to the film until it was over.
